Reiki attunement 1 and 2 workshops..
Reiki is an ancient healing art that channels universal life energy, worked through the hands of a practitioner, into the body of the person or animal recieving it, to bring the body and mind into balance on all levels (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and soul). It encourages self healing, strengthens the body and soul, opens up energy blockages, balances the chakras and rebuilds inner harmony.
Those seeking to practice this ancient art, must first learn the symbols and sounds that activate the flow of healing energy and become attuned, opening their natural healing pathways, that allow them to focus and direct the universal life energy that Reiki taps into.
Level 1 Reiki attunement workshop.
At the first stage of attunement, the new practitioner will learn :
- The background and history of Reiki healing.
- The power symbol for activating Reiki healing and how to tap into the universal life energy, rather than using the practitioner's own life energy for healing work.
- Working with healing energies on the chakras.
- Basic self healing positions and techniques.
- Full Reiki level 1 attunement
The Reiki 1 attunement is intended for the self use of the practitioner, rather than to be used on others. A certificate of achievement will be given, but only when the practitioner can satisfy the intructor that they have attained a full grasp of the subject and the abillity to demonstarte this practically to the instructor's satisfaction. Unlike some Reiki 1 attunements, these certificates have to be EARNED rather than handed out for simple attendance.
Level 2 Reiki attunement (practitioner) workshop.
The second degree level of Reiki is concerned mainly with gaining a greater understanding of the self and learning how to take the core skills gained at level 1 and building upon them so that the practitioner is able to begin working on others, both in a direct hands on way, and across distance.
At the second stage of attunement, the practitioner will learn :
- A short refresher on the abilities learned at level 1, demonstrating that they have fully grasped the basic concepts.
- Techniques for working with auras and sensing the 'needs' of a patient by doing so.
- A set of chakra exercises, intended to open and balance the indivual through regular exercise.
- Two new power symbols, specifically for emotional healing and distance healing.
- Hand placement techniques and 'scanning'
- Preperation of the self for healing others (including an introduction to your healing guides).
- Full Reiki level 2 attunement.
The Reiki 2 attunement is another step in opening yourself to light. The three Reiki symbols used at this atge are reminders, focal points and an invitation to grow. They remind us that we are one with all things. In this oneness body, mind and spirit are healed and become whole. In releasing attachments and conditionings, we learn to live in the present moment.
A certificate of achievement will be given, but only when the practitioner can satisfy the intructor that they have attained a full grasp of the subject and the abillity to demonstarte this practically to the instructor's satisfaction. Unlike some Reiki 2 attunements, these certificates have to be EARNED rather than handed out for simple attendance and will require attendance on 2 full days and a further 2 evenings after attunement.
